Transportation from Linares-Baeza Station to Ubeda
Good Day Fodorites,
I have a Talgo Train from Madrid Atocha, arriving at the Linares-Baeza train stop at apx. 6PM on a Thursday in mid October. My final destination is Ubeda. Any suggestions on how to identify a Taxi Company that I could call on my cell? A bus option from the train station to Baeza would work also. Any help would be very much appreciated.

There is a bus stop very near by, sorry I cannot remember exactly where you stand but I think on the 'island' opposite. I think you will not find a direct bus to Baeza at that time. To Ubeda, yes, and then onward. There is a bus at 1855 which could suit to Ubeda - http://www.alsa.es/en and then change, same bus company.
The taxi rank is a few more metres opposite the station. A google of the likes of 'taxi Linares' will give several companies.
Does this cover it?

WomBatt,
Thank You. Yes you covered it quite well. I had been on the ALSA site, but it never occurred to me to enter the train station. The 18:55 will work quite well. I also followed your other suggestion and have several taxi's as an option. Thanks for helping. I need this type of assist once in a while. You did not disappoint.
