My family of 4 will be landing at the Dublin airport around 10:15 at night. Is our best option to take a taxi to the Temple Bar area to get to our apartment?

Since there are four of you it will probably be better to take a taxi. Once you add up bus fares for four people it will probably cost around the same. Plus the convience of a taxi to take you right from the airport to the door of your apartment will be appreciated by everyone especially at 10:15 pm.

When you come out of arrivals veer right. The taxi rank is on the right hand side of that exit.

Maybe I'm just an idiot, but I've been looking and can't seem to find any van type services for Dublin airport. I'm sure they exist, but I can't seem to get info on them.

I'm looking for a hired van (you know, driver waiting at arrivals with your name on a placard) to seat 8 with bags, to take us from Dublin airport to wherever our hotel/apartment might be.

I'm still in the very beginning stages of planning this group trip. Some of the group are not going to be interested in dealing with public transportation (busses/taxis) after the flight, and since we're all going to be on the same flight I thought I'd try to find a van service like we had in Italy.

Any info is greatly appreciated!

It is difficult to get a van for 8. Just get two taxis for 4. There is no shortage of taxis outside the airport.
