Train or bus between Salzburg, Vienna and Prague?
Hello, I am going to Salzburg, Vienna and Prague in June for 3 nights in each city. Can anyone please tell me whether its better to travel by train or bus from Salzburg to Vienna and then from Vienna to Prague? There are 2 of us travelling together. Do we need to book in advance? Thank you

TRAIN TRAIN TRAIN
Salzburg to Vienna - - you can buy when you arrive at Salzburg. Check oebb.at for schedules and fares.
Vienna to Prague, if you purhcase in advance, you can take advantage of the SparSchiene tickets which are only €19 per person. Note that the SparSchiene tickets are only valid for that particular train you booked on, and are not cancellable/refundable. They also go quickly, so buy them as soon as your dates are set. Walk-up price for that route is €39, if you don't want to be bound to one particular train.

Hello Sinny:
Should you take the train as suggested (I'm not sure a bus is available), try the OEBB RailJet train from Salzbug to Vienna. It leaves around 11:00 am, has a number of classes of service, is very comfortable and is fast. Goodluck. Gradyghost

forgot to mention that a shuttle Vienna- Cesky Krumlov exists too
www.shuttlelobo.com
just add these for your review as the train offers fast convenient service and agree with others above this is a reliable way to travel to your destinations
