Train from Venice to Florence

Help .... I need to rent a car in or south of florence italy. the rental agency would need to be close to the train station. i will be traveling from venice to florence via rail and then venturing south of florence via the car rental. are there car rental agencies near the train station ?

Your subject line is a bit misleading. You might get more travellers who can answer your question if you titled the post something like 'Car rental location nr Florence train station'.

As best as I can tell, not in the station itself.

Attached is a TripAdvisor link from a forum on this subject from 4 yrs ago.

Yes, but you will need to be careful leaving as you need to avoid crossing into the ZTL.

It might be easier to rent a car at the Florence or Pisa airport since you won't have to worry about driving in cities.

Call autoeurope. They will advise on your options for car rental and location.

I agree that you might consider a title that is appropriate - you're looking for help to rent a car, not take a train.
