No. We don't need a sleeping cabin.I just want to make sure that the seats we pick on the Eurostar are together. I read on another thread someone indicating that even though when you book the seats they look like they are next to each other, they are not. I want to make sure that we get seats next to each other.

You actually want seats across from each other in the compartment, not beside each other. That way you can look at each other and your feet can mingle. It's awkward when a stranger is sitting across from you as there isn't much leg room.
