Trafalgar Square Restaurants?
I'm leaving for London tomorrow and then on to Ireland for a week. Have evening tickets for Phantom and would really appreciate recommendations for restaurants in the Trafalgar area.

It's nearly a thousand miles from the "Trafalagar area" (the English for the hinterland of Cape Trafalgar) to Her Majesty's Theatre in London's Haymarket.
Truncating street or square names in London is an absolute guarantee people you're asking questions of will misunderstand you.
Don't do it.

It does say Trafalgar Square in the title.
I suggest Les Deux Salons in William IV St, an authentic French brasserie. They do pre-theatre menu for around £20 (plus drinks and service). www.lesdeuxsalons.co.uk
Another is www.terroirswinebar.com
For seafood, www.j-sheekey.co.uk and oyster bar next door www.jsheekeyoysterbar.co.uk
Restaurant in National Portrait Gallery is also good, but only open certain nights. http://www.npg.org.uk/visit/shop-eat...restaurant.php
