Tour from Rome to Delphi
#3
Usually tours from Rome to Delphi head south to Sorrento/Pompeii first before heading to Bari or Brindisi for the overnight ferry to Patras. I don't think you will see a rug store, but you might see a cameo or inlaid wood demo with sales pitch (both in the Sorrento area).

Yes, I made a mistake. I am arranging tours, etc. for Athens and Rome so I crossed them. I actually wanted tours to Delphi from Athens. I guess I am brain dead at this point. Thank you for trying to help me.

You see lots of posts about George the taxi driver. I think this is his website, but I would check around for recent reviews.

Sorry, just saw this.
There are three reputable companies offering Delphi tours from Athens:
Chat, Go and Key Tours. I'm affraid you can't avoid the rug shop stop though.
An other option is to DIY . It is very easy to organise this on a public bus from Athens. If you are interested, I may explain all the details on how to do this!
