Toulouse - car parking

What is the most convenient or centrally located car parking station in Toulouse? We'll be driving from the east, from the direction of Carcassonne.

Thx!

There are excellent underground lots beneath all of the major squares.

There is a big parking place at the station. Just follow the signs "Gare Matabiau".

Except that I dont think that the parking area at the station is the most centrally located. If you don't want to take the train, you have a longish walk to the more interesting part of the ciy. Or you could take the metro from there.

As kerouac says, underground parking areas are under all the major squares. I would look out for the Capitole, St Georges, or Esquirol parking lots. That's what we usually do, depending on where we want to have lunch!

Here's a link to parking in Toulouse; I'd go for St. Georges:

The reason I indicated this parking area is that when you drive into a town and do not know your way around, it is always easier to find the station that the more centrally located places -
This is especially the case in Toulouse when you are driving from Carcassonne. There are several road signs pointing to the station soon after you leave the highway.

Yes, perhaps, but if you follow the "centre ville" signs, guess where you end up?

Thx for all your feedback.
