1. Romans visiting on the Spanish Steps<BR>2. The Trevi Fountain at sunset<BR>3. The Duomo in Milan, up on the roof<BR>4. Alphabetically, and not mentioning any of the other good ones already cited here:<BR><BR>1. Assisi, Sunday Mass in the lower Basilica<BR><BR>2. Duomo, Pisa<BR><BR>3. Palazzo Contarini Del Bovolo, Venice <BR><BR>4. Pantheon, especially on a moonlit stroll, say around four in the morning, especially if you're seeing it for the first time.<BR><BR>5. San Zeno, in Verona<BR><BR>6. Santa Croce, Florence<BR><BR>7. Vatican Museum, the spiral staircases leaving there, and the hall of maps.<BR><BR>8. View over Lake Garda from our villa last fall. <BR><BR>9. Villa Balbianiello, and Lake Como, in general.<BR><BR>10. Villa la Rotonda (Villa Capra) outside Vicenza<BR><BR>Best wishes,<BR><BR>Rex<BR>

In no particular order:<BR>1. The view of the Grand Canal upon exiting the Venice train station<BR>2. The view of Lake Como from our window of the Hotel Belvedere in Bellagio<BR>3. The sight of the Positano hillside when I opened the shutters of our room at the Cove di Saraceni (Sp)<BR>4. The exterior of the duomo in Florence<BR>5. The view of duomo in Milan from any angle<BR>6. The Pieta in St. Peter's<BR>7. David in the Accademia<BR>8. The ancient ruins in Rome<BR>9. The Botticellis in the Uffizi<BR>10. Turning any corner while getting lost in the maze of small streets, narrow alleys and small canals in Venice
