Titlis in March...worth it?
I'm trying to decide wether to go to Mount Titlis on March 5, to enjoy the views and attractions, or rather stay at Luzern the whole day and maybe go to Pilatus. Is Titlis too cold to enjoy it fully on that date?

I've been to both and Engelberg/Titlis would be my choice if you're looking to spend a day exploring a town, take in the attractions of the Alps and take a beautiful train ride to get there.
Temperatures never get "that cold" in the Alps. My niece could not stand living in northern VT (too cold) compared to her hometown in the French Alps. YMMV if you're used to warm climates.

I also thought Titlis was more breathtaking, but both are beautiful.
I would wait until you get to Switz. to make that decision - see what the weather is like..
Keep in mind Titlis is over 3000 meter high. The cable station is on a glacier with year round skiing - today it was -13 C at the station, so it is cold.
Pilatus is 1000 m lower, and warmer.
Both have websites that you can check current conditions, and I believe webcams so you can see if there is a view on any particular day:
