Tips for Copenhagen Trip
My husband and I are heading to Copenhagen on March 19th for the weekend, Any helpful hints on what to do, where to eat.
Also, we do not speak Danish, will this be a problem?
Thanks in advance.

You will have no problems with language in Copenhage - most everyone speaks English.
Fodors miniguide to Copenhagen is comprehensive and you can get to it by checking destinations at the top of the page.
The Stroget (pedestrian shopping street) is one of the originals and you can find Royal Copenhagen and George Jensen along it. My personal favorite store is Den Permanente for all sorts of Scandinavian design - even that paragon of candlemaking, Yankee Candles.
The Carlsberg Glyptotek Museum has an extensive collection of Gauguin and one of the few complete collections of Degas sculptures. A topnotch small museum.
There are many excellent fish restaurants and lots of choices for the justly famous open face sandwiches. Just wander around and find something.
The airport is quite close and the taxi ride inexpensive. You can walk to most places when in the city.
I'm envious. Enjoy your weekend.

There's plenty to do too...the best is to get a hop-on, hop-off tourist bus (the ticket lasts for a couple of days I think) and it will bring you to all the main sites. On the "must see" list are:
Rosenborg Castle
The Little Mermaid
Amalienborg Castle
Christiansborg Palace
Nyhavn

A lot of businesses close on Saturday at 1:00pm. If you want to do any shopping along the Stroget, go before 1:00pm.
If you're to judged by your "name" you might enjoy a stop at Christiania.
I think it's worth the trip to Hillerod to see Fredrickberg Castle, one of the most pictureseqe castles in Northern Europe.
'91 Vin Steu' at 91 Gammel Kongevej serves the best draft beer in the world.
Changing of the guard at Amelienborg Palace at noon. Perhaps not the most impressive of shows, still . . .
Skt Gertruds Kloster is expensive and worth it for quality and atmosphere. Komandant . . . same, for different reasons.
Blue Elephant Thai restaruant at the Radisson Scandinavia . . . gamble at the hotel casino aferward.
Have fun!
