Time to make second flight in Heathrow coming from US-is it enough?
We are scheduled to land American Airlines terminal 3 at Heathrow 6:20 am. Coming from US Kennedy Airport in NY May 27. We will have only carry ons and no checked luggage.
Can we make an AirBerlin flight from terminal 3 at 7:40 am?
Thanks.

There's no reason for this NOT to be a through booking on one ticket (both airlines are One World) and minimum connect time international to international at T3 is 70 mins.
So - AS LONG AS IT IS ONE TICKET - if your incoming flight's late, BA/AA are obliged to put you on the next available flight anyway.
No-one has the foggiest whether you'll land on time, sol no-one can possibly tell you whether you'll make the connection you're booked on

Whenever I have flown into Heathrow (granted only 5 times over 10 years) it seems often we end up circling for 30 mins. or more waiting to get a spot in line for landing. I have no idea if this is typical, but that's why I wouldn't take the schedule you are asking about.

Always error on the side of a longer connection time vs. trying to cut it too close. Remember, waiting an extra 30 to 60 minutes for your connecting flight is far better than arriving at your connecting flight's departure gate 1 minute after the flight pushes back from the gate.
