After logging off last night I kept hearing that song in my head from Mary Poppins:

Step in time, Step in time

I dreamt of chimney sweeps all night.

All are Architects of Fate,
Working in these Walls of Time,
Some with Massive deeds, and Great,
Some with Ornaments of Rhyme.

Nothing Useless is, or Low,
And each Thing in its Place is Best,
And what seems but idle Show,
Strengthens and Supports the rest.
------

Those are the first two stanze of my favorite poem, "the Builders" by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.

It is what I live by and it is about TIME more people heard it.

Tuff crowd.

Don't give up, maddog. You'll get some bites on your other threads.

You'll enjoy the Amalfi Coast during September. Good luck.

Time is so old,
And love, so brief.
Love is pure gold,
And time, a thief.

"Time flies."

I've been hearing that my entire life and I just can't make any sense of it. Most flies buzz around so fast, you would need a really good stop watch to time them accurately. And what's the point anyway? Is there a contest to see which fly is the fastest to get to the garbage or the pile of dog poop? Sorry, but I see no reason to time flies, and I wish people would quit telling me to do that!!

Oh, never mind, but thanks for letting me vent. I've wasted too much time on this thread already.
