I'm going to Paris in November and would love to hear a concert there. Does anyone know how to get tickets and if there are still concerts at that time of year.

Deb; I have gotten tickets to Sainte-Chapelle concerts at the ticket booth in the basement of the Bon Marche department store on the Rue du Bac.It's near the CD/music dept and very convenient. Don't know about concerts in November, but you can check on line at Parisscope before you leave for all manner of activities!

Although there are concerts in other months at Ste. Chapelle, I don't see any in November on the above site; but there are other church concerts listed.

There is no website which lists ALL concerts for St-Chappelle.

There is some sort of concert there just about nightly, and tickets are usually available the day of the performance, from the ticket booth at St-Chapelle itself. I generally go during the day to see the stained glass windows, and purchased a ticket for the concert that evening or the one following.

Deb, go to: http://www.ticketnet.fr/shop/fr/accueil.asp near the top right hand of the page it says "English Version" - choose that. Then on the next screen near the upper left are the words "Advanced Search" click that. In the pop up window it says "Every Region" scroll down and click on "Ille de France" to the right of that it says "Every Kind" scroll down and choose "Concert" You can also enter dates (remember to put enter dates as day/month/year), then click on "Launch Search" It is very possible that the concert schedule for November is not arranged yet. I used this last year when we attended a concert and I don't remember how far in advance they were listed, but I think right now it's too far out for November.
