Tickets for Doges Secret Tour Venice

We're going to be in Venice next June and would like to get tickets to the Doges Secret Itinerary Tour in advance. Anyone know a reliable website where we can buy tickets online. We would also like to buy advance tickets for the Vatican in Rome. Are we too early or can we do this now. Thanks for any input...

Sandy

I think you have to call to get your ticket reservation. Then you pick up the actual tickets when you arrive. Remember to factor in the time difference when you call Italy!

We called to make our reservations and it was very quick and easy. The info is in the "Helpful Information Italy" thread. Just type that into the search box to find it.

We had our hotel book the reservation. We were able to walk in and wait a few minutes in line to pay for the tickets. It was a great tour!

Hi Sandy,

Call 1016868 011 39 041 520 9070 between 0900 and 1600 Florence time. It will cost 10cts/min.

You will get an English-speaking operator who will make your reservation and give you instructions.

The 10-16-868 # didn't work in my area. I'm guessing it's similar to the 10-10 #s that are out there to get cheap long-distance calls. But some of these numbers are only valid in certain areas. I found one that works in my area (Western NY) which charges 46 cents per call plus 3 cents a minute. It was 10-10-987, and is an MCI #, so perhaps it's more global.
But when I did get thru to the number 011 39 041 271 5911, they only took reservations for the following day. For anything more in the future, you need to call 011 39 041 520 9070. That worked fine for me today. They spoke English, and you just give them your name, they give you a confirmation #. You pay the $15 Euro when you get there. They have 3 English tours a day - 9:45, 10:45, 11:55.

Hi,
Just in case anyone's interested, here's the link :
http://www.weekendavenezia.com/bigph...is&skin=ve

You will also find the link for advance tickets to museums in Rome and Florence in the above website.

Good luck.
(my second attempt to post this) If this appears twice, there's a glitch somewhere somehow : )
