three days in switzerland, what to do?

Hi all !
It's my first time in Europe. I am going to a course in davos. my reservation starts december,10 at 3:00 p.m. , the course starts december 12.
I will arrive at zurich, december 8 11:00 a.m.
I already have a programation for davos, but i really don't know what to do before, nothing is planned yet.
I speak english, spanish and portuguese and understand italian and french.
by the way, i am from brazil.

You will see the mountains from Davos; I would be inclined to stay in Zurich a couple of days. Its an attractive cosmopolitan city with a lot of cultural amenities. I think their art museum is the best in Switzerland.

I think you would very much enjoy Zurich as well. It is a small international city with a night scene, restaurants, shopping, and yes, some nice museums and galleries, an orchestra and opera. You can read more if you click on destinations up above.

It is easy to get from there to Davos.

Also, you could look into another ski/mountain area but mostly they don't really get going until Christmas week so I think you will enjoy Zurich much more. It is all decorated now with 'Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds' the new Christmas lights. There has already been snow in Zurich so that is good news for a pretty time in both Zurich and Davos.

To learn more about available boat cruises on Lake Zurich, check their site at www.zsg.ch and click "english" far right.
I think the fodue cruise is only held on Tuesdays, but check to be sure!
