EXPs have to pay $250 as well when using miles to upgrade. It's only when we use our e-vips, there is no charge.

I stand corrected--it is 90K for biz--slip of the digit, I guess. As far as the 25K + $250, I was reading it to mean if you fly coach but want to upgrade to biz for 1 leg of your trip, that would be possible. So, guess I am reading too much into this? Obviously, I'm trying to figure the least aa miles needed for Europe--if only just for the flight over. (I do realize there is no difference in cost of miles used for day or night!) Please straighten me out so I can fly right. Thanks.
