mowmow, I like your post. I remember when I first went to France years ago thinking every French person ate frog legs, Foie Gras and drank Champagne.

I'm very grateful for all the useful information I have gathered here, either by asking a direct question or by reading an answer to a question asked by someone else. This board is still one of my primary research tools.

Because of the help I have received, I like many long time posters try to give back. One of the things I like about this board.

I like many others do get tired of the questions that demonstrate the lack of any research and for that reason I no longer answer a lot of general question about where to stay in SF for example. I admire the patience of some long time posters who still do.

I love the fact that for an unmoderated board, this one is actually very civilized. I don't know what others may have read or experienced, but compared to a great many other boards, believe me the level of criticism on this one is gentile!!!
