Budman - The Delphi lodge is in an area that I think YOU love - on the road from Leenane to Louisburg. You could always fish, drink and golf while she is being pampered.

Maybe not what you would call a Spa, per se; but Killeline Leisure Park in NewcastleWest, County Limerick (about 1km south of N-21 on the Old Cork Road) has a 20m heated indoor swimming pool, steam & sauna and a workout room with all kinds of hi-tech equipment. It's pronounced 'kill' 'lay' 'lun.'

There's also a Killeline Lodge: guests at the Lodge have free access to the 'Spa.'

You'll have to pay a Greens Fee to play the adjacent 18-hole parkland golf course and then there's Mick McCoy's Sports Bar, Restaurant & Pub. Owner John McCoy (former Dail Member) was lamenting about his Chef quitting the last time I visited there.

Resident Golf 'Pro' is Kevin Doorien, formerly of the Legends Course in South Carolina.

West Limerick is not the most scenic part of Ireland but it's less than 2-hours drive to Ballybunion (Kerry) or Old Head (Cork).

I've been to a wedding at Inchydoney and it was breathtaking. I didn't have time to take advantage of their services, unfortunately. I know the bride and groom returned for their one year anniversary and said it was very relaxing and the service was excellent.
