Grasshopper: Thank you for your kind wishes. We're looking forward to our visit, as we haven't been in London for several years (Heathrow lots of times to make connections for elsewhere, but not London). May I return your wish and hope you too have a wonderful trip!

hanl, if you're going to LA, you won't need the scarf. I wore one of my favorite French scarves to LACMA one day and several total strangers stopped me to tell me how delightful it looked. (I'm sixty-something and was with my husband so they weren't hitting on me!)
Come to think of it, wear the scarf, you may meet some very nice people.
