Actually, I learned a lot by watching the Holland/Netherlands video!! Felt rather sheepish about some misconceptions I had. One of these days need to go there...Thanks for the link!

I watched the Netherlands play in the World Cup a couple of times, and am fairly certain the fans were chanting "Holland, Holland".

If you go to 2:30 in the video, the narrator missed an opportunity to explain why the Kingdom of the Netherlands still has a French slogan...(so I feel ok calling them Pays-Bas)

And then there's the fact that Amsterdam is the capital of the country even though the parliament and government is in The Hague! ;^)
