Www.Paris-walks.com - check out their web site for a choice of neighborhood walks in English, all of which I highly recommemd. Just show up at the appointed meeting place and pay 12 euro.

Paris by Mouth tours. I took the St. Germain, a walking tour of that neighborhood which meets at a cheese shop, then goes on to stroll to a deli, a chocolate shop, a bakery for bagettes and ending up in The tasting room of a wine shop for a sit down to enjoy all the goodies picked up by the guide along the way accompanied by various wines.

The Cluny and afterwards walk to the nearby Jardin de Luxembourg and stroll from one end to the other then over towards St. Germain.
