The A/C Question -- Necessary in September??

I have been reading posts about needing A/C in July and August. I am wondering about September (3rd - 16 specifically). I didn't think it was necessary, but I am now wondering...

Thanks,

Actually, Celianne, you shouldn't need air-conditioning in July or August in Malmo. Sea breezes should be very nice there.

At least, I'm guessing that's the place you're asking about. It's as logical a place to inquire about as any other I can think of.

Many European countries get quite hot in the summer and even early fall. I would certainly not want to stay somewhere without a/c in early September.

Unless there is a heat wave, you should not need it. But can you predict the weather that far ahead of time?
