TGV Ticket Error...is it a problem??
I printed 4 TGV tickets yesterday for myself, my husband, and the couple traveling with us. Being unsure of the exact birth years of the other couple, I called and spoke to the MAN. He gave me the wrong birth year for his wife!! The tickets are Prems, nonrefundable, nonchangeable. Don't know if this will be a problem and not sure what to do. Posted this on Ricksteves.com and got 2 answers "No Problem...they don't check IDs". I guess I want more confirmation on that. Anyone have experience with this? Suggestions?? Thanks very much.

>>No Problem...they don't check IDs<,
I think they check passports/IDs - how else would the assure that you are you - and the tickets were not purchased by a broker and sold to last-minute travelers. But I agree that it should not be a problem. We once got on a TGV with tickets for a different time (long story why) - and the ticket checker let us continue.
