Taormina, Sicily Hotels & B&B's

Can anyone recommend a nice, inexpensive (under $100/night) hotel or B&B in Taormina, Sicily?

It's about 100€ for a double but I don't know if there's too much decent for much less than that. Had a fabulous view. I took this photo from our terrace. www.pbase.com/annforcier/image/47922974

We stayed at the Hotel Soleado which is rather spartan but it was more like 86 euros. Taormina's hotels are very expensive. How about staying in Giardini Naxos or Letojanni?

We were just there in June. The least expensive place we could find was the Hotel Pensione Adele at 80€ per night. It is conveniently located outside the gate closest to Porta Catania . It was nice but not great…brace yourself for many stairs.

All of Taormina is expensive. Just getting from the train station to the hotel will cost some significant Euro, or involve a long walk with luggage. If you want to keep costs down I recommend limiting your time in Taormina and spending more time in Cefalu’. Cefalu’ is much less expensive, just as aesthetically pleasing, and easier to navigate.

Try this one:

I haven't stayed there (yet), but it's the only one I liked when I was looking for places to stay in Taormina this year before I changed my mind and travelled somewhere else.

We stayed at Hotel Isola Bella which is located on the water versus high up over the water.

Taormina was too expensive for our taste and someone during our trip around Sicily recommended staying there instead of in Taormina.

It was a short walk to the funicular that took you up to the town and I think it cost 1 euro. The hotel was 100 euro and although it was nothing special, it worked perfect for us.
