I will be in London over Thanksgiving this year, is there anywhere that would serve a traditional American turkey dinner or am I expecting too much?

They don't celebrate it, so you're expecting too much.

Try chains such as the Marriotts, Sheraton/Starwoods, or Hiltons. A friend had dinner last year at one such hotel (as they cater to a largely American crowd).

I know that there is a thanksgiving service for Americans at St Pauls. Worth checking out the website.

One of my favorites in London is Maggie Jones in the Kensington area. They often have roast turkey on their menu and with a number of Americans patronizing them, I would be willing to bet you could get a traditional turkey dinner on our Thanksgiving.

Having just returned from the USA to the Uk I think the food in Americas leaves a lot to be desired.. Have you every tried an English Home cooked Roast Turkey dinner? It may change the way you eat!!
