You could-email the pastors of two American churches here to ask whether they know of a celebration: [email protected] and [email protected]. I should be sorry if not: we see many enjoyable celebrations from across the world, and I hope your day is marked here. The more so when our two countries face special questions on the maintenance and the defence of freedom.

You might post on Fodors anything you learn.

Welcome to London

Ben Haines

One of my favorites in London is Maggie Jones in the Kensington area. They often have roast turkey on their menu and with a number of Americans patronizing them, I would be willing to bet you could get a traditional turkey dinner on our Thanksgiving.

Dear Ms Riley,

I agree that in England home cooking is best. But perhaps you expect too much. How can an American tourist try home cooked food in England ? Perhaps you are planning to open a bed and breakfast house that celebrates Thanksgiving Day ?

Ben haines
