I took photos with my smartphone of all my prescription bottles before going on my recent trip to Venice and then 3 weeks in Spain and kept the photos in my photostream (my own brilliant idea!). I also took my meds in the bottles. Probably all unnecessary. In none of my trips to Europe or to Mexico have I ever been questioned about my meds, prescription or non-prescription. YMMV
