Swiss weather

I understand that the weather in Switzerland is somewhat unpredictable in July, but I'm wondering if I would be more likely to find clear weather if I travel in mid-July (rather during the first week of July).

I will be going to Murren, Spiez and Luzern.

Hi susan001,

You can find historical weather data at www.wunderground.com.

I'm not sure that two weeks one way or another will make any difference, baring the odd, unpredictible storm.

Thanks, Swandav and quokka. Guess I'll stick with the original plan and hope for the best.

It's impossible to predict weather for any given time or place.

Last year in the middle of July in Interlaken it was over 92F every day blistering heat which everyone kept telling us is most unusual. But it continued for our entire week in Switzerland.

A French family camping next to us told us the previous year had cold drizzly days so they always brought clothes for every season.
