Rich, if you want to know something about convent's accomodations, do a search under" Covents, Rome " in the search box at the top of the page.
There are many informations regarding these establishments, usually the rules are the same.
Good Luck

Here is a link to convents recommended as accommodation by the Church of Santa Susanna, the American church in Rome:
http://www.santasusanna.org/comingTo...html#R-vatican
The Suore Teatine are listed but, according to another source, their location is halfway up the Janiculum, which is not very close to anything.
My personal preference would be for a convent in the historical centre, several of which are listed on the above-mentioned Web site.

Thanks . . I know the rules and customs, was loooking for comments on this particular one. Searched for this one and came up with nothing . .
It must not be a popular one ( which can be a good thing!)
Thanks . . Rich

Eloise, Thanks . . I had googled this convent and found that website. I am not familiar with that part of Rome at all so appreciate the comments.
This is actually for my sister, an artist, who is taking a group to Venice on a painting retreat and stopping in Rome for three days on the way. She likes the lesser known, out of the mainstream places to stay. Sounds like this may fit the bill!
Thanks again . . Rich
