Sunset/Elevator for Altitude 95-Paris

Does anyone know about what time the sunset will be in early June?
What elevator do you take to get up to Altitude 95 Restaurant? Is there a long wait? I know Jules Verne has their own private elevator, but I don't want to spend that much. I am only interested in Altitude 95 because I thought our 13 year old grandson would get a kick out of dining in the Eiffel Tower.
Thank you for your help.

Robbie,
i have no idea what time the sun sets in June, but I've been to Altitude 95. I don't remember North or South, but with your back to the river there is a booth between the two pedestals on your left. You get your lift ticket there. The pedestal is the far one one your left. There is a separate line to get on the elevator so watch for the sign. Don't forget, you need reservations for Altitude 95.
Ron

We ate at Altitude 95 last Sept. It was a good meal and not very expensive. We got a window seat and had a nice view of the city. The previous poster gave a good description of the window and lift to go to.
Robbie,

Choose any search engine and do a search for "sunset". You'll get lots of sites with times for sunrise/set, etc. I've done it, just don't remember the names.

try www.sunrisesunset.com (that was too easy). I'd guess about 9:15-9:30.

I happened to remember that my GPS will give me the sunrise/sunset times and since I still have the Eiffel Tower in memory, I checked it.
June 1 sunset at 8:45, June 30 sunset at 8:58.
You can also check visually by going to www.allocine.fr/live/ This is a live webcam on the Champs Elysees. I told some of my friends I would be there at a certain time so they could see me live on vacation. My wife said it was a dumb idea and stayed out of camera range for my 15 minutes of fame.

sorry, but I think your GPS is wrong. You may not be accounting for daylight savings time or difference from GMT or something. I've been there on 7/1 and I know it does not set at 9 pm at that time of year, you're off about an hour so it's probably the daylight savings factor. It sets at almost 10 pm on the longest day of the year, which is around third week in June; there will be some twilight, not total darkness, for about a half hour after that. On 6/1 it sets at 21:43 according to my favorite URL above. I don't know what a GPS is, actually.

Failure to account for daylight savings time seems the most likely explanation. A GPS (global positioning system) device communicates with satellites that transmit and receive from orbit in space to provide precise latitude and longitude information. Accurate to 10 meters or so, more or less, depending on the device.
You're right, I forgot to account for daylight savings time. (I think I'll just go hide somewhere for a while.)
A GPS is a Global Positioning System. It does neat things such as telling me that my driveway is 4,129 miles from the Eiffel Tower. It doesn't always work well in a city where building block some of the signals and it doesn't account for operator error such as daylight savings time calculations.
