Suggestions for hotel Biot, Antibes area
We will be arriving via Nice airport 31st August and have 2 nights before going down to our place in the Vaucluse. We are looking to spend a couple of days relaxing after a long flight, hopefully soaking up some sun by a nice pool. Can anyone suggest a hotel in the Biot, Antibes area? I have been looking at the Domaine du Jas at Biot and that seems to match what we want - does anyone know this hotel? Thanks. Greg

Thanks very much Tulips, both those hotels look lovely, but they would be too expensive for us. We normally use 2 star hotels in France and were looking to go upmarket for these 2 days, but not quite that far! Domaine du Jas (http://www.domainedujas.com/) is around 160 euro per night and that is about the price we were looking at. I'd love to hear from someone who knows this hotel.

Hit post too soon.
My husband and I spent a lot of time in Biot in the late 80s and early 90s - we loved it! Here's a comment from another posting about our favourite restaurant in Biot - check it out!
Galeries des Arcade in Biot (5 km north of Cap D'Antibes) is a wonderful restaurant/hotel/bar. No menu, 2 choices, house wine and the most amazing welcome (and an art gallery downstairs with original Vasarelys - after one lunch we almost spent a fortune (see: house wine, above) but sanity prevailed.
(Subsequently we have stayed at the hotel a number of times - the room at the top has a great balcony overlooking the Med and Thursday is Ravioli day - don't miss it!)
