Strasbourg or straight to Paris

Hi!

Will be traveling to final destination Paris from Stuttgart. Should we spend all remaining four days in Paris, or stop in Strasbourg for a day?

Thank you

Knowing nothing about when, who, what interests, or anything else, I'd say stop.

We loved Strasbourg, so if it is an easy stop for you then I would make it.

I loved Strasbourg (and Nancy) enough I went back. More than enough to see for just one day! However, rather depends on whether you have been to Paris before.

I agree, no one knows what your history is and what is important to you. Decide for yourself. If you go to Paris a lot and never been to Strasbourg, of course, stop in Strasbourg. If you've never been to Paris and never will again, maybe not.

Strasbourg is most definitely worth a visit But have you been to Paris before or is all of this a first?

If Strasbourg is an easy stop, do it. If not, you never have too much time in Paris.

I would only have a one day (and overnight) in Strasbourg. I’ve been to both Paris and Strasbourg; spending much more time in Paris........but not in the last eight years. Not the best time of year; my travel will be in late March into super early April. Museums and markets are some of my interests.

You could consider stopping overnight in Metz instead.

Metz is on the direct train line. Nancy is not, or I would have recommended it, too.

According to bahn.de Metz requires a change of train as well, unless I have the wrong Stuttgart.
