storing luggage in Paris & Brussels

Hello,
travelling to Europe in end November. Is there any where in Paris and Brussels where I can store my big luggage items for 9 days so I can travel around light? I heard the airports and train stations don't allow storage any more due to security reasons. Is that true?

I stored 2 large bags at the central train station in Brussels in late August. There were no lockers there that I found - just a person at a "window", and the bags were stored in a large room. Don't recall the cost, however.

Paris lockers at Paris train stations currently are open: Gare du Nord, Montparnasse, Austerlitz and Gare de Lyon. Probably Gare de l'Est has reopened thru the left-luggage was closed last Feb when i was there due to station reconstruction.

Max 48 hours at Gare du Nord - 72 hrs i think at others so have to come back and reup every few days.

Hotels may store luggage if you'll be coming back to that hotel especially

thank you StuDudley and PalenQ.
The options seem very limited. I'll be in Paris for 9 days.
does anyone have any other options - both for Brussels and Paris.

How are you arriving in Paris? There is a private facility at the airport that will store items for you, and they also have an office near Pere Lachaise in Paris.

I have no idea what they charge.

It sounds like you have very large trunks or items such as from moving house that you want stored during the same time you will be in these cities? Is that why you don't think your hotel will store them for you during the 9 days you are in Paris? Maybe if you clarified how large these items are someone can help, if that is the case, and how much you have.

Blue Marble is a bicycle tour company in Paris that offers either short- or long-term luggage storage to anyone, not just their bike customers. Go here: www.bluemarble.org.
