kerouac can't get his/her head around the fact that most first timers, and many repeaters LIKE being in tourist central. Not everyone wants to be out in some other neighborhood , some like walking out the door and being in the thick of it.. its just different strokes for different folks and there is NO right or wrong to it.

I personally liked the Accor hotel we stayed in Paris. We could see the Eiffel tower from our window, and it was close to transportation, good for walking and in a nice neighborhood. The prices are reasonable http://www.accorhotels.com- It was the Mercure hotel.

Kwoo, I want to ask about an erlier post you had in Czech Rep. and didn't know how to get your attention on that earlier post so put it here. Sorry about my ineptness. YOu mentioned towns you had visited other than Prague... Karlovy Vary, Telc,Znojmo. Did you do the spa in Karlovy Vary and did you do it as a day trip from Prague? If so, how did you get there. Did you drive to these areas, how was the driving? What are your thoughts on Telc, we are considering it. Please tell me about your favorites. Again sorry for the location of this post.
