djk, I absolutely agree with you and that was my dilemma and while ultimately we decided to go. If our friends were not going with us the trip would have been cancelled several weeks ago. It's bad timing and pricier than we originally intended but we want them to have a great time and, well, we could use the vacation ourselves especially after this move! So in an effort to not cause dissapointment and friction with them we are going and I'm sure we will all have a great time.
Thank you all again!
Tracy
ps trvlgirlmq, thank you! We are going to Nashville this weekend to hopefully find a place to live. My husband's new company is in Brentwood so we will be looking around in that vacinity. Fingers crossed that we find something fast!

I'm happy you decided to go. A couple of years ago we put our house on the market. We were getting so few people seeing it we decided to plan a 3 week vacation and not show the house while we were gone. Of course we got an excellent offer on the house one week before we were to leave. We couldn't change all of our plans at that point and were able to push the closing to 2 weeks after we returned. We had a wonderful trip and were rejuvenated. We packed our big house in two weeks (while still working).Yes it was stressful, yes it was hard, but that's all part of traveling. Things don't go as planned all the time. Go and enjoy.
