Staying in a Castle near Edinburgh

Does anyone know of any castles that also serve as B&B's within walking distance to Edinburgh or at least to a bus stop not far from the city? To add another layer of criteria, one that is not expensive, if that even exists!

I looked online and it seems as though they're all far from the city to where you'd have to rent a car, which we're not doing.

I am finding this a bit hard to take seriously. But..
1. Try Traquhair House. Phone them. there must be regular buses.

2. Prestonfield House is a manor house place in the city. It's the closest approximation I can think of.

Dalhousie Castle? There's probably a bus to Bonnyrigg. But "not expensive"? To the contrary....

Thanks for your thoughts, didn't mean for it to be so funny, but I'm glad it was entertaining nevertheless!
