Stay or Drive: Giant's Causeway area

I'm finalizing the last leg of our trip which will have us stopping in Antrim to see the Giant's Causeway. I have been researching lodging in the area and with the exception of the Bushmills Hotel, I'm not really enamored of any of the options. Can you recommend a manor house or upscale b&b that's within a 30 minute drive of the area?

While in that area I'd also highly recommend Dunluce Castle and a walk at beautiful Ballintoy Harbour. We love staying at Limepark (www.limepark.com) -- but it's self-catering. I wouldn't call it "upscale" -- but charming and very special.

Whitepark House - great location, great house, and Bob is one of the most friendly and welcoming B&B owners I've ever met. After a recent remodel, all rooms are now en suite, too.

About 45 minutes (or less) from the Causeway is Limavady. Just outside I recommend Ballycarton House. http://ballycartonhouse.com . We spent the day at Dunluce Castle, the Causeway, and Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge and were back for Saturday evening Mass very near the B&B.

With only 2 nights in the area, most of the self-catering places were unavailable. Whitepark House was also going to be closed during the time we were visiting, otherwise I would have booked there in a second! We ended up booking the Culloden Estate right outside Belfast.

I've been told that the village of Cushendall is a great place to stay in the area - by one of the locals That's probably where we will be staying when there next summer.
