Spring Trip to Portugal

This late April/early May I will be going to Porto, Portugal for a wedding. We are spending 5 days in Porto, then taking a train to spend 1 day in Aveiro, and then heading to Lisbon to spend 3 days. Does anyone have any restaurant recommendations in any of those cities? Also, what would you recommend seeing in Porto? I have a Castle tour and a food tour for Lisbon. We will be going with my fiancé's mother who cannot walk far distances and fatigues really quickly.

We did a ton of walking in very hilly Porto. We did see the Cathedral, the Sao Bento train station with the incredible tile work, another church with the side of the building covered in tiles, the waterfront area, had a tour of the building that is sort of a merchant's hall, took the tram to the other side of the river for views of Porto and drinks at a cafe on the waterfront. We didn't do a port house tour as not my favorite kind of wine to drink. We did see the outside of the Livraria Lello but it was a Sunday night and so actually were closing right after we got there. We had planned to take a boat ride on the Douro but the day was very overcast and misty, drizzly. We didn't go to the Torre but we did go to the Rem Koolhaus designed Casa de Musica Concert Hall. We had a car and did a day trip to historic Guimares.

We spent an afternoon in Aveiro and really enjoyed the canal boat ride.

In Porto, consider visiting the Bolsa Palace -- it is magnificent!

We will probably check it out as we have 4 days and no plans right now. Is it wheelchair friendly? Or are there benches to sit down?

The Bolsa Palace? (Remember: when you post, you need to be clear about what your are referencing.) According to it's website, yes. https://palaciodabolsa.com/ Scroll down. Email them if you want more info.
