Splurges in London

If you could splurge on one thing while in London, what would it be?

If you like aftershaves/perfumes that are traditionally British, go to Penhaligon's. There is a branch in Covent Garden. It sells very traditional scents and other cosmetics that you won't get elsewhere. They started off in over 100 years ago and are still making the same perfumes. Expect to pay about $70 for 100ml. It's definitely worth it. (English Fern is my favourite.) Search them out on the web.

Similar to the mail above, but I'd go to Jo Malone's in Sloane St, by Sloane Sq.
Not trad-Brit, but a wonderful customer-friendly store.

This is exactly what I want to see. I have never been and am meeting my sister...mom of 7...there for a week. I really want to do one thing to pamper her and really needed some ideas.

Keep them coming!

Elisha, the theatre, of course! Buy the best tickets you can find for the show she likes the best. A musical will probably do the trick. http://www.officiallondontheatre.co.uk
