Spanish speakers, I have a question.

I'm trying to register for a hotel room, and I don't know what to put in the space marked "titular." What does "titular" mean?

I always thought it meant-Mr. Mrs., Sr., Sra, Srta, Don, Dona, Rey, Reina, etc.

Apparently "owner" is one of the meanings, but it's not working here, so I'll try Sra.

“Titular” is the person that is most likely to be in charged of a Group. if a couple it could be him or her. If in Spain he is the logical choice. If a family of 4 again the male parent is the one to be “Titular”. If traveling alone, then you are it (male or femail).

If you have a menu in a web form look for the following…

Mr. = Sr. / Don
Mrs = Sra. / Doña
Miss = Señorita

What they are looking for is a name... The name of the Titular the head of the group...

Thanks, everyone. I entered Sra in the space, and it worked. I now have reservations for Semana Santa in Málaga, 2012.

And why would the Sr rather than the Sra be the logical choice? Who chose the hotel? Who made the reservation? Who's paying?

I just read it as a check box - Mr, Ms, Dr etc.
