Spain Transportation Strike
We found out that the day after we arrive in Barcelona, there is a transportation strike scheduled in Spain. Our trip will be for 15 days in Europe and we also want to see Paris and Rome. What should we expect with the strike? Will we be able to get around at all? Should we try to get out of Spain the day we arrive and go to one of the other destinations?

From a travel report website that I read today, a Spanish rail strike is scheduled for April 21. You're right in that the airport strike is cancelled for now, but the terms and conditions still have to be accepted by the workers. The website reports that the final decisions should be made by tomorrow. Have you heard anything about the rail strike?

Just checked again. This is the latest news on easytravelreport.com:
"Update:-Good news regarding Spanish rail strike, turns out to be workers involved in customer service and cafeteria works. Will not affect running of trains. Bring food for your AVE journey.
Spanish workers pulling a "Double Whammy"

April 21
May 1 and 2
Taxi drivers and bars now joining in the fray."
Speaking of Semana Santa, do they have the processions and things in Barcelona too or just in Andalucia areas?

I don't have much confidence in the accuracy of the link you provided. As mikelg noted there was a strike planned for the airport workers on certain future dates but it has been cancelled. I've heard nothing about any other strikes (taxi, train, etc....) during this period so I'd question the source of their information.
I'm not sure about processions in Barcelona. I know they are most prevalent in Andalucia but there are cities outside of Andalcia (ie. Zamora) in which they are very important.
