try the Hotel Serrano near La Castellana or maybe close from EL Callao (downtown) Hotel Liabeny!

For Madrid try
www.travel-in-madrid.com (but I only book here for their "special deals"; their other rates are simply rack rates.

www.placestostay.com (We secured an unbelievable double rate of 100 euros at the 5 star Hesperia in April thru this site)
www.nh-hoteles.com (for the NH Santo Mauro, Lagasca, Sanvy, etc.)
