Sorrento Hotels - are there any good ones under 160 euro/nt for sea view and hotel terrace? What's the scoop on Magic Tours UK?
Shesh, Sorrento has become expensive. We're looking at staying six nights next May (high season) and on our list of wants is a reasonably nice hotel with hotel terrace for drinks and a sea view from the room.<BR><BR>The minimum seems to be 175 euro/nt for two people for these amenities. Is there anything out there just a little cheaper or should we bit the bullet here?<BR><BR>We've also looked at Magic tours in the UK but they haven't returned my emails. They sell some of the Sorrento hotels' rooms (probably) cheaper than the hotel does as you have to stay 7 nights. Is this travel company for UK residents only? Are they not booking for next year yet? <BR><BR>Comments most welcome!<BR><BR>

We stayed at the Hotel Villa Maria (Via Capo, 8). It was pretty good, nothing incredibly fancy but clean and a good location. Every room has a small balcony that overlooks the Bay of Naples and thus Mt. Vesuvius. There's also a pool during warmer months. Three of us were there in 2000 and it cost about $120. US...good price for a triple. Do a search, you'll find lots more.
