Sorrento accommodation for 5

I'm asking this question on behalf of some friends of mine, who are putting together an itinery for Italy. I suggested adding the Amalfi coast.
They have 3 kids 10-14, so there will be 5 of them altogether.
Can anyone suggest an apartment or hotel catering for 5 people in Sorrento?
Thanks in advance

There are some very expensive hotels around Sorrento. However, the Hotel Oriente is one of the more attractive moderate options. It has individual rooms and apartments, all with sea views.

Hi

What is their budget (in euro)? When are they going? Try http://www.scentofsorrento.com/engli...tment_a109.htm.

Please note Sorrento is not part of the Amalfi coast but a good base for exploring nonetheless.

Thanks for the replies

Will pass of on the info.
worldinabag, I suggested they stay in sorrento because there would be a better chance for them to find accommodation for 5, and also would be agood base for them as suggested,. they haven't been to Italy before , so am thinking the ywould like to visit pompeii and the amalfi coast from here. the yare also lokinf for a bit of relaxation for a couple of days. Any suggestions welcome on your behalf. They are going in September.

This agency was recommended by SeaUrchin; this villa in Sorrento might be appropriate:

We need a budget to make helpful recommendations for lodging.

If they'd like to peruse the options, you could direct them to several websites:

www.tripadvisor.com
www.venere.com
www.sorrentohotels.net
www.sorrentoapartments.net

The first two are tried and true with guest reviews and ratings. The second two are paid listings, so all the glowing descriptions should be verified elsewhere.

I know you asked about Sorrento but Villa Rosa in Positano has a family room with 2 connecting bedrooms and one of the bedrooms has a cot in it. It wasn't cheap but one of the best buys for Positano and we found it to be wonderful.

i can suggest some appartments and hotels in Sorrento.First there is the Villaggio Resort Nettuno. It is located in the Sorrento and Amalfi coast right in the middle between Capri, Sorrento and Positano! Directly by the sea with private path to the beach, in the heart of the sea park Punta Campanella. There are Apartments, bungalows accommodation .

Hi Navgator,

I have the perfect place for you !!!

I'm italian and the past August with my Family (3 of us) i've been in Sorrento for one week. I've found a fantastic Villa just in the Center of Sorrento recently refurbished is really a great place
with fair prices and the best is Fabio Brook the Owner discreet and available. Here is the web address of Villa Rosa Sorrento : http://www.villarosasorrento.com/
