Sorrento

Me and my soon to be wife are heading to Italy on our honeymoon here in a few months. We are flying into Rome and taking a train straigt to Sorrento for our first few days. I've been there before a few years back but didn't get to do everything i would've like due to time, including Capri, so we are definatly including that this time. What is the best place to catch a ferry from there, or if there is a difference, which ferry line to take. I don't know much about the ferry services so as long as we don't have to swim i guess any of them will due. Also if there is anything that we just SHOULDN'T miss we would appreciate the info. Thanks a lot

Check out www.capri.net for anything and everything you want to learn about Capri! You are definitely picking one of our favorite spots to begin your honeymoon - we love Sorrento...! It is easy to catch a ferry from Sorrento to Capri, you can probably walk, as we did, down to the dock from our hotel.
For info on Sorrento, check out www.sorrentoinfo.com
Have a great time!

It will be very easy to catch a hydrofoil to Capri from Sorrento - there are a variety of companies offering this excursion and they depart more than once a day. I suggest you don't miss visiting the Blue Grotto once you make it to Capri (this was once Tiberius's private swimming pool) the water is a stunning azzurri blue - it almost seems like it is glowing. I think you should also not miss having a lemon granita which is a specialty in Sorrento/Capri.

Have a great time!
