Sofitel summer promotion?
I received but accidentally threw out a recent newsletter from Sofitel Privilège Card. There was a promotional code listed(not a one time use code) for summer discounted rates--something like "HOT"

It's not what you're looking for, but here's a different code offer for Sofitel and Visa users:

Thank you, WillTravel.
Unfortunately that Visa offer is not valid for my travel dates.
I will probably try calling the hotel chain, but often they are not supposed to "offer" details of a promotion. But since it is something that I was originally offered, perhaps they'll help me out.

StCirq, I'm pretty sure it was Sofitel because I put the information aside specifically for use for reservations at the Montreal and/or Philadelphia Sofitels.
(yes, I know this is the Europe board, but since Sofitel is a European chain, I assumed more people here would be familiar with their loyalty programs. It's possible, I suppose, that it was a local, North American, promotion, but all the materials were mailed from France, and I know there was mention of the various Accor brands and global locations.)

I honestly don't know. My dad is on their mailing list, and he just gave me the pass when I saw him last weekend. I haven't even read it yet. I just pulled it out when I saw this post.
I'll check into it and let you know.
Nyer: oh well, sorry I couldn't help. I'd call Sofitel.

Thanks for all who tried to help.
I did actually find the correspondence I was looking for and I even had the correct code! Turns out you couldn't check the rates on the Sofitel website anyway, so I called and when the agent found the rate, it was not lower than other rates that were available on the website. I had him check for other promotions and he found one a bit lower still.
