My name refers to Queen Elizabeth I before she was Queen. I'm an Anglophile so I chose a name that represented that. Also, I've always wished that I were THAT Tudor Princess.

I'm new at this. My name is Carol, but Granny is what my three dear grandbabies call me and I love it!

Well, this is interesting! Arrietty comes from Mary Norton's "The Borrowers," my favorite book when I was growing up.

(P.S. I used to be "Morning Giggle." I figured Arrietty sounded more dignified.)

Mine's boring and obvious. But this is really interesting because I had so many misconceptions.

I love Gardyloo- as I mentiooned elsewhere; and I thought cd was someone else, and I thought Brahman was.....and it's nice to see so many old pals still here after registration. But we need to pick up the pace. I reckon the traffic must be down by half.

No, not since registration began. But your screen name could have been used by many people before registration began last month.

Thanks for the explanation flygirl. I always wondered. I think there's also a flyboy here - wonder what his story is. Good luck with your license.

I chose April because I couldn't think of anything more interesting. It seems to pop up a fair bit in my life, from the goat I had as a kid who had April in her name to my favourite Lilliput house April Cottage and favourite movie Enchanted April. My first internet hookup was in April, and I'm an Aries. Funny thing is I don't really care for names that begin with vowels.

Used this off and on til I learned of another poster (different board) w/same
name. This comes from children who could not pronounce my name. Wasn't taken when I registered, so I'm using it again. Never posted with my given name.

It's my name and the one I've always posted under here at Fodor's. So, yeah, I'm that Caitlin, even though I haven't been around much in a while.

To FlyGirl: I envy you. I used to fly C172s but it became too expensive and I had to give up. But, I throughly enjoy flying on big jets and go to faraway places. Mine came from boxes around me.

Pepperidge Farm and Hershey's are more accurate. But if I chose one of them, I would never log-in because of misspelling.

After flying 29 years as a "domestic" flight attendant-my base was closed(due to economics with the company) so now I am commuting to another base and flying international!
Keep me in your prayers-definitely not a great time to be flying across the "pond" once a week?

Marilyn, me too! Lack of imagination, but I do always know who I am.
