Count me in for the 12th. Holly and xxx are certainly invited. Observer, of course, is NOT!

Russ, where in the Valley? Maybe I can talk you into picking up my potluck item so I don't have to drive out to Encino on my way from Arcadia to Long Beach? I will gladly pay you with any left over lira!

Art-- Since my month in Spain fell thru, any date is fine. I was thinking of bringing Greek garlic lemon chicken, i.e., if you would b-b-que it. (Sorry Holly-- no creamy garlic soup, but I'm still looking.) Otherwise, I'll bring whatever you need.
Thyra--what about picking up some yum pastries from a Med/Middle Eastern deli? Just a suggestion, being culinarily challenged myself.
Art-- what did I tell you about many takers?

Art, I'm third from the top response. You or someone needs to set up a web page or equivalent like a bride's list type of display so that the necessaries can be identified, organized, and committments to provide be made by email and perhaps with phone numbers. Who knows, we may even have a wine wholesaler in the group. I am not that proficient with my PC or I would start it I would be willing to collaborate with someone. I live in Laguna Hills, off the 405 at El Toro. Nov. 12 suits me. Phone is 949 859 1535. Charles

Art and Everybody,
Have any of you given any thought to whether you are going solo to this party or bringing your sig oth or spousal equiv or spouse or travel companion or....?

On the one hand, it would be nice to bring your 'other half' and at the same time, as Russ said in a post recently, his travel companion has no interest whatsoever in the planning, beating to death, etc, we all seem to thrive on.

I guess if we all brought a 'non-travel junkie' they could stay in one part of the house so they aren't bored by us and/or don't annoy us. What is the consensus?
ciao,
luigi
