Sleigh ride in Germany?
We are going to Germany soon and I wonder if it's possible to find a sleigh ride somewhere? It's another "bucket list" item that I would so like to check off. We will be in Frankfurt, Nuremberg, Munich, Regensburg! And Bamberg and could travel to other locations in the general vicinity. Thanks for any information.

Hi crckwc1,
There's a lovely horse/sleigh ride from Mittenwald to Elmau, about 90 minutes. You have a bite to eat in the restaurant there, then the return is the same 90 minutes. Mittenwald is about 2h from München.
Have fun as you plan!

Well for a sleigh ride you would need snow - which means the mountains.I'm sure there are places where this is possible but not sure exactly where. I would just be sure that what you are being offered is a sleigh ride - not just one in a wagon.
