Sintra, Portugal on a Sunday

I will be going to Lisbon in March and I can only fit in a trip to Sintra on a Sunday. Will most places ie: shops, castles and restaurants etc. be closed? What about on a Monday in Lisbon? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

We were in Sintra last May on a Sunday and we didn't have any problems with anything being closed. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't have gone on a weekend since it was so crowded, but maybe March will be better than May.

I don't recall what Lisbon was like on a Monday - we may have been in another town at that time...

I think museums are closed at Mondays. Except from that, is a normal working day.
